GPS / GNSS equipment uses satellite positioning to collect survey measurements. South Coast Surveyors combines field measurements and data processing to support your project’s spatial requirements.

Applications can include survey control networks, georeferenced topographic data, construction control, mapping and rural-property work. The survey method and outputs are selected to suit the site and the purpose of the work.

Specify the spatial information you need
Send the site address and extent, project purpose, coordinate system, datum, required accuracy and output formats. Tell us how the data will be used and whether your designer or engineer has a specification.

Choose methods to suit the site
Satellite visibility, obstructions, control and verification requirements influence the field method. GNSS may be combined with total station work and other checks. Survey accuracy is assessed against the agreed purpose; it is not inferred from the equipment name alone.

Scope and quotation
Control establishment, site extent, access, required checks, processing and deliverables affect cost and timing. GPS/GNSS data collection does not automatically include boundary re-establishment, underground-service detection or certification.
