A detail and contour survey gives your architect or engineer agreed information about the existing site before design. Building work may then need construction setout using current approved drawings. Boundary marking and identification reports address different property questions and should be scoped separately.

Scope the work for your property

For sloping or constrained sites, supply the designer’s brief, survey extent, required levels/datum and adjoining information needed for design. Do not assume a detail survey includes a full boundary re-establishment or an underground-services investigation.
